The main reason for using polypropylene packing in cooling towers is that polypropylene (PP) material has a series of advantages, making it an ideal packing material in high-temperature cooling towers. The specific analysis is as follows:

 

1. High temperature resistance: Polypropylene (PP) has excellent high temperature resistance, which can maintain stable physical and chemical properties under high temperature conditions and is not easily deformed.

2. Strong stability: Compared with PVC, polypropylene (PP) has better high temperature resistance and is not easily softened, deformed or decomposed even in high temperature environments, which is crucial for the stable operation of high-temperature cooling towers.

3. High temperature resistance: When the inlet water temperature exceeds 50 ℃, the temperature resistance of polypropylene (PP) packing is significantly better than that of modified polyvinyl chloride (PVC). When the inlet water temperature exceeds 60 ℃, polypropylene (PP) has higher temperature resistance and better selection effect.
